Come and enjoy the peacefulness of the SCAN Land. Walk the trails, sit by the pond, ,view the different art installations. Open from dawn to dusk. If you are feeling energetic, walk to the Mink Creek trail for a walk to downtown Scottsville.

There is aways a job for those who love being outdoors—trail maintenance, making sure the sculptures are in excellent condition, removing invasive vegetation—the list goes on.

SCAN Has received $25,000 from the Virginia Outdoors Foundation to continue making the SCAN Land on Hardware Street a public park! We are very proud of our team for writing a grant that received 100% of the funds we requested to do this work!

On July 22, SCAN held a workshop on the 13 acre land on Hardware Street. We had a great turn-out and learned a great deal from our discussions. It was clear everyone was excited about the prospect of having SCAN Land to be used as a future public space!
