CBA Ballet Classes

We are proud to partner with the Charlottesville Ballet Academy once again to offer classes at Victory Hall Theatre for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.

Classes will meet on Wednesdays from September 3 through May 23.

Students will be invited to participate in CBA's annual end-of-year Spring Performance!

All-Level Djembe and Dunun Classes


Classes are held Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Cost is $100 for the full 6-weeks, or $20 per class for drop-ins.

All levels of experience welcome and some loaner drums available. RSVP to reserve a drum!

Have you always wanted to take better photos? Do you wish you could learn the secrets of what makes a great photo? Do you want to learn to see things around you in a different way? Do you like to look at beautiful and creative photos? Do you like to have fun being creative? Do you have access to an iphone or a digital camera? Then this class is for you!

We will cover nature photography, portraiture, action shots, how to tell a story in one photo, how to make and use reflectors and more.

During this 6 week class we will learn all of that. Each week we will learn a new technique (or a few techniques) that will make for a better photo. We will look at examples of pictures demonstrating that technique in use, then you will have a week to practice what we learned. The following week we will look at everyone’s photos (anonymously if preferred) and then consider a few new techniques. By the end of the 6 weeks, you will have learned the secrets to better, beautiful, creative, eye-catching photos!
