PROGRESS ON SCAN LAND

We want to thank all the Earth Day participants for your time and energy in making this year’s celebrations a great success! There was a lot of progress on SCAN Land:

• Downed trees were cut, gathered, and cleared to make way for trail work

• The gathered fallen trees were chipped to make a trail in the forested area

• Existing barbed wire fence was partially dismantled

• Stepping stones were place across the creek for easier access to/from the Mink Creek Trail of the Van Clief Nature Area

• Additional sculptures were installed

• And we planted more trees!

We cannot wait to see what more we can accomplish on SCAN Land with all your help!
