2020 FOUNDER’S GALA

2020 was a big year for SCAN and Scottsville. Our founder, Mary Hardy, would have been 95; SCAN is celebrating its 15th anniversary as a local arts and environmental non-profit organization; and our home, Victory Hall turned 100!

To honor our past, and pave the way for the future, SCAN’s Founder’s Gala Performances and Art Auction was open to all online. We hosted music rooted in bluegrass and folk, inspired by the Piedmont’s landscape of rolling hills and winding rivers. The art auction boasted artist’s whose work is inspired by the local and the global. We are honored that all of these artists  chose to donate their time and work to SCAN to build the best for our community. Please see featured parts of the performances here.

This fundraiser helped generate funds that have been lost due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and additional funds to further develop our Performing and Visual Arts programming for the town of Scottsville and its surrounding rural and urban communities.

Even though it’s over you can still help by donating to SCAN!
